Process of joining the Eta Alpha chapter of Chi Omega Sorority
About Chi Omega: Chi Omega is an intergenerational women’s organization forever committed to our founding purposes:Friendship, Personal Integrity, Service to Others,Academic Excellence and Intellectual Pursuits, Community and Campus Involvement, and Personal and Career Development. We volunteer our time doing activities like 5K’s, ice cream socials, carnivals having all money the money raised go towards Make-A-Wish foundation.
Why should you join Chi Omega Eta Alpha Chapter: We are a group of women all coming together from different backgrounds and upbringings altogether workings towards a common goal. The goal of bettering ourselves,our education, our community, and our sisterhood.
The requirements to join: You must be a full time student of Oregon State University or a full time student taking at least one credit at OSU. You just maintain 2.0+ GPA to be in the chapter but must have a 2.75+ GPA to not be on academic probation. As well as be apart of two on campus activities,clubs, organizations. As well as volunteer 3 hours out of house and 3 hours in house. To join a girl must go through Panhellenic formal fall recruitment or spring informal. This is the only way a girl can join.
